I think Kat Dennings, while having a much drier on screen personality than one would associate with Harley, has the perfect look to pull off a gothic-chick version of Harley, if they go down that route. She also exudes a sexy bad girl attitude and has a slightly mischievous quality to her that would fit Harley's personality very well. Dennings's comedic sensibilities, which often have a snarky and aggressive quality, could work for playing the unbalanced Harley, whose sense of humour, like the Joker's, leans toward jokes that have fatal consequences. It would also be intriguing to see Harley stand up to the Joker, rather than be a pushover. This could provide some nice drama as well as great comedy as these two insane criminals fight like a married couple.
