So there you have it, confirmation finally that nobody who called the Doomsday plot line was actually going insane (much to their obvious and open delight on Twitter). The new trailer has gone all in: showing not only Doomsday (who looks suspiciously like one of Michael Bay's god-awful Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), but also Wonder Woman in action (saving the day from Doomatello, as he must now be called) and the first real evidence of how Jesse Eisenberg is playing Lex Luthor. Unsurprisingly, the answer to that last one is "just like Jesse Eisenberg". Frankly, there are problems: Batman has a gun, everything is brown, and it might as well have been the entire movie, but it's a hype builder in one way or another. You'll be talking about it for a while, at least, so the marketing department have done their job. But it could have been done a little more subtly rather than by releasing an actual cartoon that will give a LOT of people ammunition to hate the film even more. What did you think of this trailer?
