1. Will We See X-23 In The Sequel?
Chances are that Hugh Jackman's Wolverine is going to factor into Deadpool in some form (in the leaked script, it was something as simple as his face being on a magazine cover), but it sounds like Miller already has some very interesting plans for introducing another clawed mutant in the sequel if he's given the opportunity to do so. After expressing an interest in pitting Deadpool against Taskmaster (though who knows which studio owns the rights to that villain...), the filmmaker offered up some very compelling reasons as to why he believes X-23 is the right choice for the Merc with the Mouth to meet up with next time around. " I would like to see him fight X23. the female Wolverine. The female clone of Wolverine. It would be totally messy, but just to have it be a girl against - you know, shes young, in the comics shes about 16 or so - but to see a young girl kicking the s**t out of him would be pretty f*cking awesome." That would definitely be a lot of fun to see, while X-23 is actually a character whose big screen debut definitely feels long overdue at this stage. Who knows, with Jackman stepping down and X-23 recently taking over the Wolverine mantle in the comics, this could be closer to becoming a reality down the line than you might expect...
