Rope of Silicon have got the scoop on a new poster for
Grindhouse, although really it's just the blending of two individual posters we have seen before. Seen as though it's a slow news day, I thought I would talk about the rumoured/confirmed fake trailers that will be shown in between the two flicks. (which I have to be honest, I'm looking forward to more than seeing
Rodriguez's flick). We have all known pretty much since day one that
Tarantino would be shooting a sexploitation trailer titled
Cowgirls in Sweden. Sounds yummy! In the Grindhouse trailer from last week, we can clearly see regular Rodriguez actor
Danny Trejo in what appears to be his trailer,
They Call Him Machete. Last week,
Fangoria annouced that
Rob Zombie would be directing a trailer titled
Werewolf Women of the S.S. with
Nicolas Cage as the lead. The same article confirmed that Tarantino's pal
Eli Roth (
Hostel,Cabin Fever) would be contributing a slasher trailer titled
Thanksgiving. Rumoured trailers are a Tarantino spaghetti western (can't tell you how much I would kill to see him do a
Sergio Leone homage Western), a Kung Fu movie and a possible
Kill Bill prequel trailer. One or probably none of these rumoured trailers will probably end up in Grindhouse, as the trailer time seems pretty much packed as it is. During our podcast, one of the guys brought up a great point. Will the trailers be used for bathroom breaks for most people, so is all the effort going to be for nothing? Is anyone actually looking forward to seeing the trailers as much as the two flicks? source -
