20 Recent Horror Movies That NEED Sequels
14. Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom
Aardman Animations' long-awaited return to horror since 2005's brilliant Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit was a sure success, Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom delivering a gentle, endlessly charming slice of gateway horror for young audiences.
With its light tone and near-wordless presentation, The Beast of Messy Bottom is easily accessible to the youngest of viewers while serving up enough nods to classic monster movies to keep a smile on the faces of most genre-savvy adults.
And honestly, Shaun the Sheep proved to be such an inspired fit for Spooky Season that it'd be a damn shame if Aardman didn't deliver the most expected of things in horror - a sequel.
Yet given that this film flopped at the box office - in large part because it was barely marketed in the U.S. - we probably shouldn't hold our breaths, unless Aardman can produce it with a streaming service like Netflix.
