New Marvel Featurette Explains The Evolution Of The Post-Credits Tag

Feige and co. get excited about everything being connected.

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection has become available for purchase on Amazon, more and more snippets from the special features have found their way online. The latest featurette to appear is a cool look at the inter-connectivity between the Phase 1 & 2 films. In it we get an over-arching look at how the Infinity Stones story fell into place, that's going to culminate in 2018/19's Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 and 2. There are also some other interesting asides, like one of Coulson's lines being a last-minute swap, and behind-the-scenes footage of the infamous Shawarma scene. William Hurt also makes a great pun. Check it out below. https://vimeo.com/148294177 Kevin Feige is clearly very passionate about the concept of the post-credits tag. He talks of remembering as a kid "being rewarded" for sitting through the end credits, in films like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Masters of the Universe; I'm thankful that he had the bright idea to really utilise it for Iron Man (and onwards). It's always a treat when the credits roll on the latest Marvel offering and you remember that you still have one or two final scenes yet to come. The Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection is available from Amazon now.
