20 Announced Movie Sequels NOBODY Expected

Citizen Vigilante is the latest film from infamous filmmaker Uwe Boll, best known for producing a string of critically panned video game adaptations in the early 2000s.

Boll retired from filmmaking in the mid-2010s to become a restaurateur, though in recent years has mounted a comeback, culminating in his most recent action-thriller Citizen Vigilante, starring the thoroughly cancelled Armie Hammer as a vigilante who takes on violent migrants.

The film was universally panned for basically every aspect of its production - as is tradition for Boll - and especially its effusively anti-immigrant messaging.

Boll quickly talked-up a sequel, though it was subsequently reported that star Hammer was trying to distance himself from the film as he didn't realise how "hateful" the end product would be.

Boll remains confident that the sequel will be released in 2027 and hopes Hammer will return, though is also said to be courting another cancelled actor now stuck on the right-wing grifter circuit - former MMA fighter and Mandalorian star Gina Carano.
