Though Leia Organa was a prominent figure in the original trilogy and in The Force Awakens, she never really got to do any fighting.

In fact, besides her escape from the Death Star prison in A New Hope and a little bit of gunplay on Endor in Return Of The Jedi, she didn't see much action at all.

But that could all change in The Last Jedi, with Miller tweeting that the General will be sporting "military garb" at some point during the movie.

She's never really worn anything that fits that description before - going from a white robe in her first appearance to a blue dress the last time we saw her - so this change in costume could also signify new territory for the character - namely, she'll be on the frontline.

This will be Carrie Fisher's final performance in a Star Wars movie too, so sending her out with a bang would not be a bad thing.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show.
