2. Sex & The City

Sex & The City's two favourite gay characters famously never got on when they first met, despite Charlotte believing them to be a good match, but one fateful New Year's Eve the pair shared a kiss that would ultimately lead to marriage in the second (and God-awful) Sex & The City movie. And even though they ultimately got married, in the first movie their New Year's Eve kiss was brushed off as meaning very little: the pair - Stanford (Willie Garson, left) and Anthony (Mario Cantone) - are shown anxiously surrounded by couples kissing at midnight and in a moment of apparent madness, they take a drink and kiss each other as the clock chimes so as not to be the only ones left out.
