New York Comic Con 2017: 10 Major Anouncements That Must Happen
4. Another Netflix Series
NYCC 2017 will no doubt be busy delving into the second seasons of Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, but wouldn't it be great to hear about a potential new addition to the MCU on top of that?
At the moment it very much feels like any spin-offs or other MCU-related Netflix projects will emerge from the current lineup of shows themselves. We saw as much with Frank Castle's introduction in Daredevil Season 2, and - to make matters better - it looks as though Misty Knight and Colleen Wing could just be getting their own series as well.
That's fantastic news for all concerned, and indeed, it's brilliant that Netflix are handling expansions in the way they are. At the end of the day, it makes far more sense to introduce a character organically though an established series before throwing them into their own show. It doesn't work for everyone though, with there being certain characters who could make the leap to Netflix without being 'eased in', so to speak.
Blade, Ghost Rider and Moon Knight have all been mooted as potential candidates for their own Netflix series (certainly the former two), and while it's true that the heroes already introduced to the MCU deserve a series first, an announcement involving either of the previously mentioned characters is bound to get fans talking.
