6. Valley Girl (1983)
In his third and final screen credit as Nicolas Coppola, the man soon to be known as Cage gave us a taste of what to expect over the next 30 years by sporting a haircut that is questionable to say the least, even by the standards of the early 1980's. If what was happening on the top of his head wasn't strange enough, for some reason the then 19 year-old actor decided to shave his chest hair into the shape of a 'V'... While the Flock of Seagulls look does fit the character of Hollywood punk Randy, it would be fair to say that the coiffed and highlighted bouffant has dated considerably over the last three decades, although it is notable for being the first in a long and proud lineage of terrible Nicolas Cage hairdos.
