No Thunder for Owen Wilson

Actor pulls out of Ben Stiller comedy Tropic Thunder.

Owen Wilson has understandably pulled out of the comedy movie Tropic Thunder which he was set to begin working on in just a few weeks time. The movie which is directed by his good pal Ben Stiller is already around six weeks into shooting but Wilson was not scheduled to film his part for another couple of weeks says Variety. The movie which also stars Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr, Bill Hader and more revolves around a group of actors shooting a big-budget war picture are forced to actually become the actors they are portraying. The movie was set to be the 9th feature film the duo had worked together on but the decision for Wilson to pull out seems to be amicable one and in truth, the only thing that could happen with Wilson's health. There's no word on whether his role in the movie will be re-cast or simply just written out of the comedy as it reportedly wasn't that huge a role. Wilson is still recovering at a medical center in Los Angeles.
