No Time To Die Ending Explained - What's Next For James Bond?

3. Will The Supporting Cast Return?

The MI6 regulars are like a warm blanket for any James Bond film. Over the half a century-plus in which these characters have persisted, they have become vital jumping-off points for the legendary Double O. So much so that some can argue the Q scene was a lot of fans most anticipated segment of the films.

Before the Daniel Craig films had fully cast these characters, each outing felt like something was missing and M just wasn’t enough. Thanks to Skyfall we finally got a full roster once more, but now with No Time To Die in the books their future is up in the air.

Where this franchise goes next is really up in the air and we don’t necessarily know if they will continue to push forward or jump back in time perhaps. This would be a real shame as this might be the tightest supporting cast Bond has had since before Bernard Lee passed.

Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and Ben Whishaw as Q were excellent in their roles. Even Rory Kinnear as Tanner became vital to this generation of Bond. Though one thing is for sure, Jeffrey Wright’s Felix won’t be returning after his version of the character was definitively killed off.
