2. Ahn Seo-Hyun Is An Excellent Lead

Young Ahn Seo-hyun does a fantastic job as protagonist Mija, a young girl desperate to win her beloved pet's freedom at any and all costs, leading her on a surreal, globe-trotting odyssey like she never could've imagined.

It's all the more a testament to her performance that she builds such a convincing bond with a digital creature. Even seasoned pros often struggle to act plausibly opposite CGI creations, so for such a young actress to pull it off so gracefully is majorly impressive.

There's never a moment where this bond doesn't feel real, and as such it wouldn't be surprising if Seo-hyun ends up appearing in more high-profile movies over the coming years. Joon-ho would do well to carve out a part for her in whatever his next movie is.
