What If Strange Never Crashed His Car?

Stephen Strange crashing his car and loosing the ability to properly use his hands is the instigating event that throws Stephen Strange headfirst into the mystical side of the MCU. By the end of the movie he has become the Sorcerer Supreme and stopped Dormammu from enveloping the planet. Not bad for his film!

But what if Strange had been paying more attention to the road and didn't actually crash at all and never began his journey to become a master of the mystic arts? Well it's likely that Dormammu would have been victorious and the Earth destroyed.

This episode could really highlight the importance of Dr.Strange in the wider MCU, as there's nothing that The Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D could do to save the day.

Dr. Strange is one of the Earth's most important defenders and showing a world with Dr. Strange would be the best way to demonstrate this. There's only one man who can bargain with Dormammu, and that's Doctor Stephen Strange.
