7. Monster's University Will Win Best Animated Feature
Likely Winner: Monsters University. Pixar has proven themselves to be the kings of animation, and the great majority of their films have taken home the prize (even for their more underwhelming fare, such as Brave).
Other Top Choices: Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2, sequel to the 2009 film. The original film garnered great praise, and the sequel will be retaining the same crew and all, so their chances look good. Also a film called Turbo has what seems to be a good setup for some awards, or at the very least nominations. It will follow the life of a snail who dreams of becoming the fastest racer in the world. It will be helmed by a first-time director named David Soren (although one of his previous credits is being "Head of Story" for 2004's Shark Tale, so that doesn't look too good).
Long Shots: The Croods, while already having been released and a commercial success, has gotten a unanimous response from audiences and critics, and that response is "Meh". Meanwhile, the final long shot for Best Animated Feature is the upcoming Smurfs 2, to which I say BAH-HA-HA-HAAAA!
