Asif Kapadia didn't even get an nomination for Senna - the film was made up entirely of archive footage and thus disqualified - so it's likely the Academy will correct that ruling and give Amy another award to slap on the DVD box. That may not be the most deserving choice though.

I wasn't totally won over by the Winehouse doc - there were certain creative choices (the use of on-screen lyrics, ending a film about individual creativity on a cover) that didn't gel - and thus I'd say Cartel Land would be a better winner. There's always next time for Kapadia.
