4. Kristen Wiig & Maya Rudolph's Cringe-Worthy "Comedy" Skit

The usually-hilarious Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph came to the stage to present the awards for Best Production Design and Best Costume Design, leading to an awkward and painfully unfunny skit that desperately outstayed its welcome.

In addition to throwing some misplaced snark at the art of production design itself, the two acted out a prolonged skit of faux-outrage, and before introducing the Best Costume Design award, launched into a spine-tinglingly embarrassing sing-song.

It wouldn't be the Oscars without at least some mild cringe, and this otherwise reliable comedy duo brought it in spades.
