Stewart, who has done a fantastic job of distancing herself from the Twilight franchise over the last decade with an array of daring career choices, is not just a lock for a nomination but the stone cold frontrunner for the win unless someone unexpected can somehow unseat her.

Though not all critics have vibed with every aspect of the film, Stewart's transformative performance is basically beyond reproach at this point, and it's tough to imagine anything derailing her momentum to the Oscar podium even with so many months left to go.
