Oscars: Every Best Picture Winner Ever Ranked From Worst To Best

63. My Fair Lady (1964)

My Fair Lady is routinely vilified for beating out not only Mary Poppins but also Dr. Strangelove for Best Picture, but it is the best movie adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's legendary play Pygmalion, largely thanks to the charming performances from Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison (the latter winning an Oscar for his efforts).

Hepburn's performance does catch a little heat due to her singing being dubbed over - one of several reasons why she wasn't also nominated - and the 170-minute runtime is pretty rough, but the film is a consistently giddy retelling of an all-time tale.

If we're totally honest, though, we'd rather watch She's All That again if forced to pick a Pygmalion movie gun-to-head.
