1. Megatron (Transformers)
The ultimate opponent for a Jaeger would not be a giant ghost or a monster from the deep but instead something a little more familiar - a gigantic robot. How do you suppose they would fair if they went to war with the Decepticons, in particular their tyrannical leader Megatron? Megatron is capable of everything a Jaeger is and more, and instead of being piloted by US soldiers Megatron is a totally self sufficient automaton with an entire army at his command. Let's not forget that in Pacific rim the US had abandoned the Jaeger project meaning only a few models were still in existence. Whereas the numbers game would come in useful against a single foe how would they manage when pitted against the entire Decepticon army? In order to survive the Jaeger's would have to outsmart the notoriously slow witted Megatron and use his own tactics against himself. That means making a call to the Decepticons own enemies the Autobots and getting those guys onside for the mother of all showdowns. Can you imagine how immense a Transformers/Pacific Rim crossover movie would be and how much destruction they could cause across the world as they waged war on one another? We're sure the good guys would prevail in the end in this scenario but who would the real losers be? Would the Autobots and Jaeger robots cause as much or maybe more destruction in their quest to rid the world of Megatron et al? Who knows. One thing we all can be sure of though is it would make one Hell of a movie.
