1. Brian OConner - The Fast And Furious Franchise
Realistically speaking, it was no surprise that Paul Walkers presence in one of the most profitable and successful Hollywood blockbuster franchises in history would chart the top of this list. Films such as Running Scared (with Walker in the leading role) would simply not have happened if The Fast and Furious franchise had not shot him to superstardom. Although he missed one installment, across six films Paul Walker portrayed a police officer turned street racer. Perhaps even more important, his association with the franchise sparked a real life friendship with co-star Vin Diesel. One could argue that this is Vins franchise, but nothing can change the fact that just as many moviegoers shelled out their hard earned cash to watch Paul burn rubber and excite in death defying action sequences alongside him. Whether you have seen one Fast movie or all of them, viewers come away entertained by Brian, evident by his beloved status among franchise fans. These movies not only absolutely defined Pauls career, but blessed him with some of his best and most personal friends. Sure, these flicks generate cash that Hollywood undoubtedly loves seeing, but a great degree of our enjoyment comes from the sensation that Paul and Vin legitimately loved bringing these films and characters to life. And naturally so, Vin Diesel stated it best:
Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace
