Power Rangers: 11 Improvements For The Sequel

6. Less Product Placement

One of the biggest complaints about Power Rangers is the absolutely grotesque amount of product placement throughout, especially all that Krispy Kreme shilling in the film's third act.

It was embarrassing and clearly a way for Lionsgate to offset the costs of a production that really could've gone either way box office-wise. Now that it appears to be successful, hopefully the next movie can tone the paid placements down a ton.

How Likely Is It?: It'd be hard for the advertising to really get any more egregious, so it'll probably be dialed down somewhat, but there will still be a bunch of (admittedly more subtle) product placement throughout the movie.

After all, it never harmed the Transformers franchise, and if general audiences were OK enough with the Krispy Kreme nonsense, anything less will be just fine. 7/10
