8. Zack Taylor

Of the five Rangers, Zack is without question the least-developed of the bunch, basically being a wise-a** who, as it turns out, has a troubled home life, where he cares for his ill mother.

He's certainly not annoying or bad in any way, but compared to the more fleshed-out characterisation of his pals, he does feel a little malnourished. Hopefully the next movie might devote a little more time to dealing with him as a person.

Best Moment: There aren't a ton of memorable moments for Zack, but when the group jumps into the rock pool before meeting Zordon and their power coins start glowing, Zack can't resist but quip,"I'm black!", much to Billy's exasperation. It seemed pretty cringe-worthy in the trailers, but actually plays surprisingly well in the final film.
