7. The Human-Predator Team-Up (Alien Vs. Predator)

Despite being called Alien vs. Predator, the movie places way too much of an emphasis on its human characters, and this is best exemplified by protagonist Lex (Sanaa Lathan) deciding to team-up with the Predator known as Scar in the film's third act.

You can argue the logic of the Predator not slaughtering Lex all you like - that she saved his life, and perhaps he sees her as a worthy ally - but above all else the visual of Lex and Scar walking together in slow-motion is just too damn silly for its own good.

Overall it just softens the edges of the Predator too much while undermining any potential tension of Lex's scenario. Predators shouldn't be teaming up with humans, especially when it's played this daft.
