6. The Predator Invades An Old Couple's Apartment (Predator 2)

Speaking of silly, is there anything in Predator 2 more bafflingly, hilariously bizarre than the wounded Predator crashing into an old couple's apartment, where he uses their bathroom to perform some improvised surgery on himself?

The Predator's pained noises attract the attention of the old lady living there, who is then startled by the Predator bursting out of the bathroom and fleeing the apartment. Harrigan soon follows, telling the woman that he's a cop, and she hysterically replies, "I don't think he gives a s***."

The rather subtle and restrained depiction of the Predator in the first film is completely undone here. Placing the creature in a dingy apartment and injecting needless comic relief into the scene just typifies how mind-blowingly off-kilter the movie's tone really is.
