Predicting 10 Ways Upcoming Marvel Movies Could Tie Into Infinity War
1. Post-Credits Pandemonium
This one is pretty much a given.
Marvel is way ahead in the post-credits scene game, and it seems highly unlikely they’ll stop any time soon considering the buzz and speculation it disseminates amongst the community; it’s an important part of their business model at this point.
The reason these scenes are so exciting to fans though, is that they have no idea what to expect going in; will it set up the sequel? A future Avengers movie? Characters we haven’t seen yet? The scenes gently nudge audiences in a direction and allow their imaginations to run wild, and while most of the speculation regarding the scenes ends up being false, it’s still a lot of fun to nerd out about.
With that in mind, let’s have a quick speed round of scenes we’d like to see, but probably won’t:
Captain Marvel is introduced. Doctor Strange learns of the remaining Infinity Stones. Spider-Man is officially invited to meet with the Avengers. The Guardians run into Thor and Hulk on their road trip through space. Tony Stark calls an emergency meeting of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Hela and Thanos share a scene. Thanos learns the location of his first Infinity Stone. Oh, and more Howard the Duck.
