Kingsman: The Golden Circle may have been an extremely disappointing sequel, but its solid box office success - turning in over $400 million worldwide - immediately ensured a sequel, which was swiftly confirmed by writer-director Matthew Vaughn late last year.

Vaughn is already working on the script even though there hasn't been any formal confirmation of its release, which seems likely for a late 2019/early 2020 bow.

Working off the production timeline of the previous film, it's reasonable to expect an official announcement and release date over the summer, perhaps at Comic-Con, with casting reveals to follow near the end of the year.
