6. Suicide Squad 2
It isn't officially greenlit yet, but it's a fairly assumed certainty that a Suicide Squad sequel will follow David Ayers hot mess original. It's said that a sequel is a "priority" for Warner Bros, and a writer has been brought on board, with an assumed release date of some time in 2019.
None of this is particularly firm at the minute though, and it could be that the studio are waiting for a major fan event to release the news officially. Maybe comic con in July?
With Harley Quinn getting Gotham City Sirens, her return might not be set in stone, and it's likely we'll see more of Batman's Rogues Gallery in a follow-up.
Evidence?
$745m is about all the evidence Warner Bros will need. And then there's the fact that Mel Gibson has been quite open about the prospect of him taking the helm of the sequel.
