Predicting 20 Comic Book Movies Announced In 2017
2. Avengers Disassembled
Right now, nobody outside of the Marvel Studios inner sanctum knows what Avengers 4 will be. The decision to rebrand it from Infinity War Part 2 was a particularly telling move by the studio, just as the decision to leave its title unconfirmed was.
The logical assumption is that the title has been withheld because it implies spoilers for the end of its predecessor, and though Avengers: Basically Everyone Is Dead might be a little on the nose, using the Avengers: Disassembled title from the comics to sell the fall-out and rebirth of the Avengers would be a very smart move.
Either way, it seems logical we're going to hear confirmation of what that fourth ensemble movie is going to be called sooner rather than later.
Evidence?
It's fairly logical that Avengers 4 is going to deal with the immediate fall-out of what happens at the end of Infinity War, and it's also just as logical that it won't be a happy ending for the Avengers.
Looking at the Infinity Saga arc, the end of Infinity War would be the perfect opportunity for Thanos to "win" by getting his hands on the Infinity Stones, and that would be the best narrative foundation for building a new Avengers team out of the ashes too.
