Predicting How 2020's Biggest Movies Will End

1. Peter Parker Makes A Cameo - Venom 2

File this under "just crazy enough that it might happen." It's no secret that Sony originally arranged for Peter Parker (Tom Holland) to make a cameo in Venom, and though the scene was actually filmed, Marvel Studios ultimately called for the cameo to be cut after seeing the movie. 'Nuff said.

And while Venom didn't perform well with critics, it was an unexpected commercial smash, grossing a mind-boggling $856.1 million worldwide, with no reason that a sequel won't perform similarly - or even better.

As such, Marvel Studios might not be quite so twitchy about putting their Peter Parker in Venom 2, especially with their pal Andy Serkis now in the director's chair.

Though there's virtually no chance Peter has a major role in the film, a climactic cameo which potentially sets up a future movie featuring both Venom and Spidey? Absolutely.

You can bet that Sony won't want to risk getting another cameo cut, so they'll probably be willing to play ball and bend the knee to Marvel Studios, especially if it could potentially earn both companies a lot of money in the future with a crossover.

It wouldn't surprise anyone if this didn't happen - and Holland himself might not love the idea of shooting yet another cameo which might get thrown in the bin - but the prospect of these versions of Peter Parker and Eddie Brock squaring off is certainly alluring.
