Predicting How 2020's Biggest Movies Will End
2. Yelena Belova Becomes The New Black Widow - Black Widow
Black Widow is sure to be one of the most interesting MCU solo movies to date, if only because it's a prequel centered around a character who is already dead.
While it's possible that Marvel is pulling a fast one on us here and they'll find a way to resurrect Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), it's far more likely that this will be her final farewell as she passes the torch to a new Black Widow.
And who else could that possibly be than her figurative sister in the movie, Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh)? For starters, Florence Pugh is an incredible actress and wasting her on a single movie would be nothing short of criminal.
Furthermore, as Deadpool would say, she's "young enough to carry this franchise for 10-12 years," and it's easy to see how she could slot into the core Avengers line-up in the future as Black Widow 2.0.
Don't be surprised if the final scene in the movie, or even a post-credits scene, shifts to the present-day where Yelena visits Natasha's grave - assuming she even has one - and possibly meets up with one of the Avengers.
