Predicted Release Date: 6th May, 2022 Almost a decade to the day when The Avengers revolutionised the superhero genre the closing part of their fourth story (and sixth overall film) will be released. And after plenty of teasing it's time to present our idea of how the whole plot could work. After the conflict is alluded to (and maybe even partially started) in Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 and the female Thor, Part 1 will see the realisation of The Kree-Skrull War (there's some rights issues with the latter, but no doubt there's a way around it), which sees Earth caught in the middle of a galaxy-wide conflict. This will end with Hulk being banished, leading into the events of Planet Hulk. Part 2 sees him return, jumping into World War Hulk before the film side-steps (The Mandarin twist showed that Marvel love their subversion) into Secret Invasion, which sees Earth's Mightiest Heroes replaced by shape-shifting Skrulls. These stories all have a central link in the Illuminati, a secret group of heroes who attempt to keep Earth safe, meaning it's not crazy to have them all linked and could serve as a competent follow-on from all that Infinity excitement. Even if this isn't the way the story goes (and we admit there's a lot of spinning plates here) these are still the likely dates for Avengers 4. What do you make of our predictions?
