Bucky is forced to come to terms with the death of his best friend, and discovers Doctor Faustus' involvement in the assassination, battling the villain's attempts to make him kill himself, channelling his dark past as The Winter Soldier. Meanwhile Tony Stark's SHIELD attempt to convince Bucky to return to their Avengers team to help deal with the increasingly erratic Hulk, who they plan to take down using an antidote developed by Stark and Hank Pym. The plan fails, but with Banner in custody, the decision is made to send him to space to nullify his threat to Bucky's disgust. The Cameo: Doctor Strange, explaining that Steve Rogers might not be as dead as originally suspected.
