7. Avengers 5/ World War Hulk (2025)

The culmination of the Hulk narrative thread, allowing Marvel another large scale event movie, and an opportunity to unify the existing Avengers - both underground and officially sanctioned - to take on a threat that would require all of their attention. Having been enraged by his banishment, Hulk finds a way to return to Earth, when his intergalactic prison malfunctions, and seeks vengeance against SHIELD and the Avengers for betraying him and sending him away. This would of course skip over the Planet Hulk storyline, and rob him of his emotional reason for returning, when his alien lover is killed, but that storyline is just too out-there, with too much CGI necessary, and an over-riding feeling that it's basically just Gladiator meets John Carter. The Cameo: Captain Marvel and the Kree calling forward to the next, and final Avengers arc.
