Why It'll Happen: Even though the film looks like absolute tosh, it's just generic enough that it'll probably play broadly well domestically and especially internationally.

Tom Cruise can still be a major draw with the right material, and considering that the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies raked in at least $400 million each, a leap to $550 million with a larger global market makes a lot of sense.

Why It Might Not: Atrocious reviews could make a dent here, or if Wonder Woman is an over-the-odds success, it could certainly take a bite out of The Mummy's bank. Speaking of which...
