Estimated Box Office Gross: $1.3 billion Well, everyone and their dog is going to go and see this movie, aren't they? How could you resist a sequel to what is one of Pixar's best and most famous motion picture ventures? Finding Nemo was a huge hit at the box office, you'll remember, which means that - as with Toy Story and Cars and Monsters Inc. (and soon enough The Incredibles) - a sequel was destined to be spawned. Finding Dory appears to be fine with reprising the beats of the original flick so that the title can work, and despite an underwhelming teaser trailer, there's a real chance that this could be great. Great or super terrible, it will still make a billion. Unconvinced? Consider that Finding Nemo managed to pull in $936 million over its screen lifetime. And you have to remember that was back in 2003, when audiences weren't quite so sequel crazy and Finding Nemo was an original idea. A sequel featuring the same colourful characters - and by same director, Andrew Stanton - is gonna do big business; especially when you remember that the bloody Minions film made $1.1 billion (and that was utter crap).
