Prediction: $2 billion +
Star Wars returns to follow up the Force awakening to answer all the compelling questions like: is him Plagueis? Is her a Skywalker? Darth Vader? Serious, serious issues.
Why It's Golden
It's Star Wars for a start and the last film took a massive amount of money. Suggesting anything but a massive box office take is just lunacy.
Will It Be Any Good?
The Force Awakens was brilliant and incoming director Rian Johnson has serious talent, so all signs point towards this being another great addition to the Star Wars universe.
If Star Wars really does rhyme then this also promises to be a grimmer, grittier instalment with bigger stakes, a downer ending and more emotional resonance than The Force Awakens. All of that should spell even more interest. Plus Luke Skywalker should have a much more central role, which is a big plus for fans.
