9. Darkseid Heads To Earth - Justice League

The Ending: After the Justice League defeats Steppenwolf, his nephew Darkseid heads to Earth to seek out the Mother Boxes for himself.

Even speculating on the Justice League ending is interesting considering that it was reportedly changed in recent re-shoots, with an original cliffhanger ending being altered into something more definite and standalone.

That said, it seems incredibly unlikely that the film will end without a blatant nod to Darkseid's journey to Earth, be it in the final scene or in a post-credits sequence. If Steppenwolf is defeated and the film wraps up without any nods towards the future, that'd be pretty damn strange.

Then again, if Darkseid hasn't even been cast yet, it's probably best not to expect more than a distant, over-the-shoulder look at the iconic supervillain.
