Though there's still little known about del Toro's upcoming fantasy adventure flick, almost all of his movies are praised for their style and casts, and this certainly seems like his most unique film in some time after the more generic throwback narratives of Pacific Rim and Crimson Peak.

Del Toro's movies rarely break the 90% mark on the Tomatometer, but there's a good chance this ends up being one of his better-reviewed movies if he can deliver on the delicious premise.
