6. There Could Be Multiple Davids, Time Travel & The Arrival Of Another Human Spaceship
This is something that has been banded around for years now; the possibility that there will be multiple Davids in the sequel movie - something that stemmed from a report regarding a script that was in the works (penned by Michael Green) that was set to incorporate more than one Michael Fassbender for the sequel. How... or why? Well, that's something that never came out with any of the reports, which - years later - has proven itself to be something of a jarring dead end. But fans have continued to imagine how David - an android whose agenda in Prometheus was vague and unclear - could wind up meeting other Davids. One theory denotes that there will be time travel at play, which will result in Shaw and what remains of the other David revisiting the time frame of the first film and revising it over and over again until they gain the information they require. This theory could easily result in multiple Davids. Another fan theory is more plausible, though, and it figures that Shaw and David - on board the Juggernaut and on-route to "Paradise" - will encounter another ship that also has its own David android on board (which could create something of a crisis of identity in him). This would also allow the introduction of more human characters to the sequel.
