4. Another Crew Could Land On LV-223 To Pick Up The Xenomorph
One question that had Prometheus fans in a muddle stemmed from the fact that the storyline takes place on LV-223, whilst Alien was set on LV-426. How the heck do a bunch of face-hugger eggs, an engineer and a horseshoe-shaped ship find their way to LV-426 if Shaw has already left without taking any of that stuff? It's the sort of mind-boggling question that only served to infuriate fans of the original Alien movie, mostly because it just doesn't seem to make any sense - a big, ol' narrative shambles. But consider one fan theory, which denotes that - given that we see other ships on LV-233 over the course of the movie - another crew could potentially land on the planet at some point in Prometheus 2 (should Ridley choose to focus on this particular planet again). It's possible that the Xenomorph that burst from the Engineer at the end of the movie could lay eggs in another ship, and that those ships could carry the goods to Alien's LV-426. It's a long shot, sure, but it would at least bridge these films together in a feasible way.
