Prometheus 2: 9 Things Need To Happen

3. Stop With The Sequel Bait And Provide Some Definitive Answers

This subject of this entry has already been touched on numerous times throughout this article, but it deserves its own spot, purely because of just how many questions are purposely left unanswered in Prometheus. What are David's true motives? Why did the Engineers truly create the human race? What is the Deacon? Why do the Engineers now suddenly hate their own creations? What are they creating all of these biological weapons for? The list could go on and on, but these are the sorts of questions that desperately need to be answered in any future sequels to Prometheus. We don't even need outright answers: nods in the right direction would be perfectly acceptable. Above all else though, if you feel that leaving sequel-baiting questions in a film is something that must be present, please don't leave it so long to release the inevitable sequel.
