Prometheus: 20 Blunders That Ruined The Film

4: Do I Know You?

The crew on the ship don't come across like people who are too interested in details. They don't seem to be too bothered about the discoveries they make, they are not worried when some of their colleagues go missing and they didn't seem to care to find out what the mission was about before they signed up for it. A couple of the crew can be overheard trying to guess what the mission is, why did these people go on a mission without asking any questions? Before accepting to go and making all the arrangements to go on a long space flight, finding out why you are going might be a question on the top of your list. To add insult to injury, the crew also don't seem to know each other. When they first wake up, the scientist and geologist have a conversation that makes it clear they have just met. Charlize Theron at the briefing says says hello to the people she hired personally, and then introduces herself to the rest. For an important and expensive mission like this, would she not already have met everyone? Did everyone just climb into the pods before entering hyper sleep without introducing themselves?
