4: I dont its what I choose to believe.
During the briefing, someone has the sense to ask Elizabeth Shaw are they are all here because ''...of a map you two kids found in a cave?'' Shaw tells everyone that ''its not a map, its an invitation'' from aliens she calls Engineers. When she is rightly asked how does she know all this, Shaw reassures everyone by saying I dont its what I choose to believe. If I had traveled all this way because someone had faith rather than hard facts, I would have had some serious questions to ask at this point, but I would have asked all these before i got on the ship. The crew are more vacant than David and just sit there like this is all making sense. I almost felt like I should step in on their behalf and stop this exploitation. And in the same briefing, how did Weyland's hologram know where to look? Were the seating arrangements prearranged just so they matched up with what the hologram would be doing?
