Psycho 1998: 5 Reasons It's An Excellent Idea

1. Shot For Shot Remakes Will Be The Next Big Thing

Psycho 1998 And now for a bold prediction. You heard it here first - after this film, we're gonna see a lot more shot-for-shot remakes of previously beloved films. Why? Well, why the hell would you want to re-watch a film you already like when you could watch it be portrayed by worse actors with inferior directing? I'm anticipating an entire line of these. Maybe we'll get some remakes of classic horror movies like The Omen. And then maybe we can remake some non-English language films five years after the original came out, without adding anything worthwhile or significant. Because that's what audiences want: stability. No one wants to see anything new or thought-provoking. That's why we're gonna end this millennium right with the remake of Psycho. Thoughts?
