PUNISHER: WAR ZONE trailer

The absence of Thomas Jane, who was actually really good as the troubled Frank Castle in the 2004 original is sorely felt in the first trailer for the sequel Punisher: War Zone.

Rome's big guy Ray Stevenson has taken over but he has little of the personality, character or line deliverance of Jane. This is an even more hard nosed depiction of the character and in any other movie he would be the villain. See the first trailer for the Lexi Alexander (Green Street) directed R-Rated movie below...

A running joke in the run up to seeing some footage from this film was that Stevenson was a look a like for Steven Seagal and although I see little resemblane, I will say the movie looks as bad as one of his straight to video flicks. The movie currently has a December 5th release date attached. source - aicn
