Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight: 10 Things You Need To Know

7. And It's A Little Different To The Live Reading Cast

That's quite the cast. Tarantino always manages to put together an impressive ensemble, but this may just be one of his best yet: a good balance of old and new hands, young and old, upcoming actors and established stars. Plus it's going to be cool seeing Channing Tatum's surfer dude-cool being transplanted into the context of a Western. A Tarantino Western, no less. Whilst the film has just started filming in the past few days, it won't be the first time that The Hateful Eight script has been performed. After the script was leaked earlier last year, Tarantino staged a live reading of that first draft at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. For the most part the cast were pretty much the same as the one appearing in the film, surprisingly, but with a few changes. Amber Tamblyn played the role of Jennifer Jason Leigh's Daisy Domergue for that night only, and Dana Gourrier and James Remar played pivotal supporting roles.
