Ralph Breaks The Internet Review: 5 Ups & 4 Downs

4. It's Beautifully Animated

Ralph Breaks The Internet
Disney

Say what you will about the content of the movie's narrative, but true to Disney form, this sure is a handsomely-mounted film.

By far the standout sequences are Ralph and Vanellope's arrival at the Internet and a car chase within the video game Slaughter Race, both of which boast an eye-popping level of visual detail.

Though the film does threaten to overwhelm sometimes with the sheer abundance of objects and Easter eggs on the screen, for the most part the film is a pleasant sensory experience to soak in, which certainly compensates somewhat for the slack screenplay.
