Ranking All Of Sean Bean's Movie Deaths From Lamest To Best

3. The Field - Forced Off A Cliff By Cows

If you don't want any context to this death, please, feel free to move right on over to the next installment. I think this death is a whole lot funnier without context so I'll give you a second to consider your next move.

On we go then! The 1990 drama thriller The Field is about a farmer (Richard Harris) who slowly descends into utter (or udder) madness after hearing the news that his fields will be auctioned off. After being outbid by an American land developer, he plans an elaborate scheme with his son (Sean Bean) to drive the developers away.

The film reaches its climax when the farmer becomes overwhelmed with losing his lifelong work that he decides to end it all by driving his cattle off a cliff. Upon hearing about it, Bean's character Tadhg (good luck pronouncing that one) rushes to his aid but gets caught up in the bovine stampede and falls to his death.

This legendary death is top 3 material for sure. Not only for the absolutely bizarre nature of it, but for the truly beautiful shot of Bean and a poor, hapless cow slowly falling to their doom.
